Sta. Rosa Laguna – Tagaytay – Paseo de Sta. Rosa

We didn’t do much during the holy week. Most of the days were just spent at home getting cooked under the summer heat. For 3 days i was just so bored! Saturday evening i’ve had some friends come over who feels the same as i was, bored. We cooked and watch movies and ate a whole lot of icecream. it was just so hot even at night it felt like we were inside a sauna the whole time. Sunday came and I went along my bf’s highschool batch gathering along with my friends from Saturday night. We played bowling but within an hour we finish two games already. We couldn’t go home not with the sauna experience. Good thing my friend knew someone who has a car and was also planning on escaping the heat of the city. We met right away and decided to go to Tagaytay.

Friends coming over during Saturday. Ought to buy an airconditioner perhaps after the wedding. So hot!

During our trip the stress I felt slowly fade away as the distance of the city increased. Billboards and huge buildings were out sight and everywhere you look there are trees and you enhale fresh air. We stopped for a short bit at Sta. Rosa Laguna at this place famous for their koi fish. You’ll immediately know why they are famous for their koi fish once you get there. I liked it there. They have an area where you can go biking and you can also rent one for only 60 pesos. They have  boat ride and picnic at the grass. There are also lots of restuarants if should you want to eat. It is a nice place to gather your family and friends. Wish we could have tried the bike but our destination was to Tagaytay so maybe next time when I can get back there.

Thanks eli for the ride.

So many fish in the water. I've never seen anything like it in my entire life.

kid enjoying the fishes.

it's makoi's turn to be amazed..

As we got to Tagaytay which was already 6pm, with view of the Taal lake is a little visible we decided to have our dinner at Dencio’s. The restaurant overlooks the magnificent Taal lake which looked even more beautiful under the full moon. It was such a wonderful evening and the cold breeze made it even perfect. The food was delicious and we were suprised by the kids who presented a song number. They were from an orphanage. It’s amazing how talented they were. I was not able to take pictures of them. 😦

All good things must come to an end they say. I didn’t want this evening to end but we have to go back to the city where our lives are. We passed Laguna again and decided to stop at Paseo de Sta. Rosa for a live band. When we got there it was very peaceful. Seems the musicians have also gone for a vacation. We sat and enjoyed the view before going back to the van. My favorite part of the place was their fountain. It was just relaxing to look at it.

Stopping for a while at Paseo de Sta. Rosa before going to the city.

Now i’m back to the city. Back to the heat, noise, pollution and stress. Can’t wait for the next vacation. Wish to go back to Tagaytay.
